The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, Staples and Plaza MAC present the National Small Business Week Seminar Series May 4-8

By: David Kennedy, Executive Director

At our heart, the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce is a collective of small businesses joined together to promote the vitality of Patchogue as a unique and attractive commercial center.

While collectively we have been blessed to be part of a transformative period that has revitalized our business district, individually, our small business owners face increasing new challenges to stay competitive in the modern marketplace.

To bring focus to the importance small businesses play in the foundation of communities across America, the week of May 4-8 has been designated as National Small Business Week.

In recognition of this, the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, along with Staples of Patchogue and the Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center, are very excited to be presenting a series of informative seminars targeted to the small business owner and small business employees. Each morning during the week, we will feature a professional presentation on specific new tips, advice and techniques designed to help small businesses keep up with these fast-changing times and sharpen that competitive edge we all look for. Topics will include incorporating new technologies, modernized marketing techniques as well as freshening up a sales pitch and redefining how to highlight what makes your business stand out as unique.

Below is the digital flyer with information on the seminars scheduled for the week, as well as the special evening social networking event presented by Edward Jones Financial Services and Conference Associates. Also included is information on how to register for each session. All of the sessions, including the networking event, are free and open to all Chamber members. Space at the morning seminars is limited and registration for each is required.

I hope you take advantage of this great opportunity to refocus and stay current with some of the best methods to keep your small business competitive and profitable. A free light breakfast will be provided, so please join me each morning during the first week of May at Plaza MAC, as the Chamber, Plaza MAC and our Chamber partner, Staples, presents you with valuable information designed to enhance your bottom line. Don’t delay, register today.
