Come see Sachem Eye Care with your own eyes

By Krystle L. DiNicola, Marketing Assistant

One of the Chamber’s newest members opened for business earlier this month. Sachem Eye Care of Patchogue is now located at 38 Oak Street in Patchogue Village.

Sachem Eye Care of Patchogue is owned and operated by the same people who have been in practice at Sachem Eye Care in Lake Ronkonkoma for the past 20 years. There are four partners, three Optometrists and one Optician, who own Sachem Eye Care. Dr. Christopher Gentile, Dr. Laura Buccellato, Dr. Valerie Giangrande and Mr. Paul Stone bring many years of experience in the field to the Patchogue area. The office is managed by Cortney Hatzakorzian who worked for several years at the Lake Ronkonkoma office.

“We decided on opening in Patchogue for two reasons. First, we saw that many patients in our very SachemEyeCare_1busy Lake Ronkonkoma office were coming from Patchogue and the surrounding areas. Second, the beautiful revitalization of downtown Patchogue and the diverse cultures in the area made it an attractive place in which to expand,” said the owners.

Sachem Eye Care offers comprehensive vision and eye care; from general eye exams for glasses and contact lenses to treating certain eye diseases like conjunctivitis and glaucoma. They accept most insurances, have great relationships with area eye surgeons and Spanish-speaking doctors are available.

SachemEyeCare_2“We want to bring quality eyecare in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere to the people of Patchogue. It is our goal to become a staple in the downtown area.”
