Spring is in the air and pansies are in the green Main Street planters!

Our 41st Beautification Fundraiser, which is held at the Harbor Crab, is fast approaching.

The Greater Patchogue Foundation Fundraiser honoring Eloise Staudinger, the founder of The Colony Shop, continues to be inspired by her dedication to the beautification of Patchogue. The Memorial Bench Program for individuals interested in dedicating a bench that recognizes local individuals or service organizations is an outgrowth of remembering her spirit. There are now nine installed benches and five awaiting installation.

Soon, there will be a beautiful new arch erected on West Main Street at the entrance to the Eloise Staudinger Walkway.

Three good reasons to remember our 41st Annual Eloise Staudinger Beautification Fundraiser on April 22:

  • It is Administrative Assistant’s Day – take your staff to lunch!
  • It is Earth Day – we plant flowers!
  • It is two days before Arbor Day – we plant trees!beautification flyer 2015
